Calendar: Our academic calendar for the year is available at https://bit.ly/LMCHSCalendar26-27.
Class Schedules: Viewing and understanding your class schedule can be confusing for new middle college students. We will have a printed copy of your high school schedule for all Juniors at our Open House. Students may view their high school schedules in Infinite Campus. However, the times are incorrect. For accurate times for CMS blocks/classes please visit https://bit.ly/LMCHSScheduleFall2026. To view accurate CPCC class schedules, please follow these steps:
- Log in to your MyCollege account (https://mycollege.cpcc.edu/ ). If your CPCC log-in information is not working, please contact CPCC’s IT helpdesk at 704-330-5000.
- Click on Student Planning and then on the right, near the calendar icon, click on “Go to Plan and Schedule.”
- Use the arrows on the left to click on Fall 2026 semester. The easiest way to view is to click on the Print button.
If a time shows “TBD Online Course,” the class has an online component that does not have a meeting time. Classes
that show both online and scheduled meeting times are hybrid. Students must attend the scheduled meeting times and will also have an online component. The online component of CPCC classes will take place on Brightspace. Resources for using this platform can be found here: https://researchguides.cpcc.edu/brightspace.
Schedule Changes: Middle College High School students must be enrolled in a total of four or more classes each
semester, with at least one college course. Students must get approval from Ms. Van Lauwe for all schedule changes. The last day to change a fall high school class is August 14, 2026. Changes to the college schedule must be completed by August 18, 2026. Students who drop CPCC courses after the 10% date will receive a W, which converts to a WF on the CMS transcript. The 35% date that you will see on the CPCC course syllabus applies to “paying students” only. Students wishing to make changes to their high school schedules should stop by Ms. Van Lauwe’s office on 8/4 or 8/5 from 1:00-3:00 pm. Students wanting to make changes to their CPCC schedules should make an appointment to see our CPCC Advisor here: Megan O'Herron Advising Appointments.
Textbooks: CMS textbooks will be issued by each CMS teacher. CPCC textbooks will be automatically ordered for
students through the IncludED program. More information regarding IncludEd is available on the CPCC website here.
Transportation: Middle college students have three transportation options: 1) Drive to school (no parking pass
needed for Levine campus), 2) Parents drop off at school, and 3) CATS transportation. Please refer to the CATS
website for information regarding routes and specific Levine pick-up and drop-off times at https://bit.ly/LevineCATS.
Students may sign-out a free CATS pass during our Open House.
Student Activity Fees: 11th and 12th grade students have a $25.00 Student Activity Fee each year. This fee helps
offset the costs of things like lunch during orientation and other special events and activities during the year. If this fee creates a hardship for your family, please reach out to our counselor, Ms. Van Lauwe. Fees may be paid through
Online School Payments (Chrome or Mozilla only) at http://bit.ly/2qRXMqu.
Student Lunch: Students may order a CMS school lunch, which will be delivered daily. Students can have an
approved free or reduced meal application on file or pay for their lunch (via https://www.paypams.com/) beginning on
the first day of service. The high school lunch price is $3.10. Reduced price lunch is .40. ALL students wishing to order a CMS lunch must complete this form (https://bit.ly/LMCHSLunchOrder) by August 7th to receive lunch starting on August 12th. Families may apply for free/reduced lunch status by completing this form.
Infinite Campus: North Carolina transitioned last year from PowerSchool to Infinite Campus. The Infinite Campus
Parent Portal allows parents to access student grades, attendance, etc. 2026-27 student information will not be visible until August 1st. All annual back-to-school forms will be electronically available through this portal. Therefore, ALL students must have at least one parent/guardian who downloads and registers in the Portal. Directions for parents are available in English and Spanish. More information is available here regarding the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
Our mission at Levine Middle College High School is to maximize academic achievement for every student in a high school and college environment. We are looking forward to an amazing 2026-2027 school year!
Sincerely,
Brian Bambauer
Principal
