CPCC Math Tutoring: Check out this flyer from the CPCC Center for Academic Support and Excellence (CASE)
regarding Math tutoring opportunities this fall.

Preparing & Paying for College: Parents and students are invited to join us for an evening virtual presentation
regarding applying to and paying for college. The meeting will be via Zoom on September 10, 2026, at 6:30 PM. The
meeting link is here: https://bit.ly/CollegeAid2026 (Meeting ID: 870 3193 4400, Passcode: 996095). We will ask to
have the meeting recorded and will share with those unable to participate in the live event.

Back-To-School “To-Do” Checklist:

• Complete our Emergency Contact Form
• Pay $25 Student Activity Fee (11th & 12th Only)
• Register in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal (and complete electronic forms)
• Return the last page of our Student Handbook (signed by student and parent)
• Return signed Technology Agreement Form (or sign electronically in Parent Portal)
• Return Graduation Checklist to Ms. Van Lauwe (grade 12 only)

Senior/Grade 13 Meetings: Seniors and Grade 13 students- please sign up for an individual meeting with Ms. Van
Lauwe to discuss your plans for next year, college admissions, and remaining high school graduation requirements.
The signup will be updated with dates 2 weeks out, so check back for later dates. Parents are welcome to attend with

Yearbooks: Levine MCHS Yearbooks for 2026-2027 are now available at the Early Bird Price of $45 until September 4th, 2026. The link location for purchase is Yearbook purchase. Senior ads are also available for purchase. You may purchase one when you order your yearbook or wait and purchase later in the fall.

International Travel Opportunity: If you would like to learn how to make pasta, stay at a vineyard in the
mountains, learn how to make coffee from the best baristas, and enjoy fresh Parmesan cheese, then you need to
travel to Italy! There will be an interest meeting on Thursday, August 28 at 5:30 pm in Mrs. Tuttle's room (#1225) to
discuss the itinerary. In addition, information for students interested in spending spring break in Puerto Rico will be
discussed. These trips are not CMS sponsored field trips. The trips are organized through Mrs. Tuttle, EF
Tours, and Explorica Worldstrides to bring global education opportunities to LMCHS and the community.

Credit by Demonstrated Mastery: Credit by Demonstrated Mastery (CDM) is the process by which a student may
earn credit for a high school course by demonstrating a deep understanding of the content; without course enrollment
or seat time. The Fall window for submitting applications is open until September 4th. You can find more information

$$Scholarship Opportunity$$: The Gates Scholarship is a highly selective scholarship for student leaders from
low-income households. It provides funding for the full cost of attendance to earn a bachelor’s degree, as well as
other support and services throughout the student’s college experience. The deadline to apply is September 15th.
