Upcoming Holiday: CMS and CPCC will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2026, for Labor Day. On Tuesday, September 8, 2026, CPCC will be closed to students for professional development. However, Middle College CMS classes will take place on Tuesday as usual. Enjoy the 3-day weekend!

Congratulations NHS! Congratulations to the newest members of the Levine Chapter of the National Honor Society. These students demonstrate the four pillars of NHS, including leadership, scholarship, service, and character. Under the leadership of our new NHS Advisor, Mr. Erik Weghorst, our newest inductees include: Dhruv Aggarwal, Priti Bhandari, Reagan Bombien, Tanisha Chintalapudi, Jordan Cruz, Ellie Cypert, Zaina Dajani, Isabella Donofrio, Sephira Goldstein, Laila Heggins, Madison Miller, Maliyah Mims, Samara Sharma, Nivedh Vengala, Sam Wilkinson, Harerta (Eden) Yosief. Preparing & Paying for College: Parents and students are invited to join us for an evening virtual presentation regarding applying to and paying for college. We will request that the meeting be recorded and will share it with those unable to participate in the live event.

Senior/Grade 13 Meetings: Seniors and Grade 13 students — please sign up for an individual meeting with Ms. Van Lauwe to discuss your plans for next year, college admissions, and remaining high school graduation requirements. School Counseling Intern: We are excited to have Ms. Ebrahim joining us this semester! 

Hello everyone! I'm Ms. Ebrahim, a UNC Charlotte School Counseling intern. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Cinema Studies from Hampton University. After graduating, I was a high school PE/Health teacher for one year and an elementary school math, science, and social studies teacher for two years. I have also worked for Teach For America and the Mayor's Youth Employment Program. Currently, I'm in my 3rd year as a graduate student at UNC Charlotte, pursuing a Master of Arts in School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I'm very excited to have the opportunity to work with you all here at Levine Middle College High School!

Junior Meetings: We ask that juniors schedule a check-in meeting with Ms. Ebrahim so we can see how your transition to the middle college program is going, any concerns you may have, and resources you may need. Sign up here. Dates will be added about 2 weeks out. All meetings will be in LV 1237.

Yearbooks: Levine MCHS Yearbooks for 2026-2027 are now available at the Early Bird Price of $45 until September 4th, 2026. The link to purchase is Yearbook purchase. Senior ads are also available for purchase. You may purchase one when you order your yearbook or wait and purchase later in the fall.

Credit by Demonstrated Mastery: Credit by Demonstrated Mastery (CDM) is the process by which a student may earn credit for a high school course by demonstrating a deep understanding of the content, without course enrollment or seat time. The Fall window for submitting applications is open until September 4. You can find more information and the application here.
