Upcoming Dates: CMS has a regularly scheduled teacher workday on Tuesday, November 4th. There will be no CMS classes on this day, but CPCC will be in session. CMS will be closed for the Veterans Day Holiday on Tuesday, November 11th. CPCC will be in session on this day as well. 

CMS Student Advisor to the CMS Board: Levine MCHS students are encouraged to vote for the next CMS Student Advisor to the Board. Voting is open from 10/20 through 11/4. More information, including the link to vote, is available here.

Graduation Date: CMS has announced the mid-year and end-of-year graduation dates. Mid-year graduation will take place on Thursday, February 5th. Our end-of-year required graduation rehearsal will occur at Ovens Auditorium on Friday, May 22, at 12:30 pm. Our Commencement Ceremony will take place at Ovens Auditorium on Thursday, May 28th, at 8:00 am.

CMS Lottery: The CMS Choice Lottery is open! Please help spread the word about our amazing school. Rising 11th
and 12th grade students residing in Mecklenburg County are eligible. More information, including dates and times for
information sessions and school tours, is available here: https://bit.ly/LevineMCHSOpenHouse.

Infinite Campus Parent Portal: ALL students must have at least one parent/guardian who downloads and registers
for the portal. Directions for parents are available in English and Spanish. Report Cards will only be available through
the portal this year. If you need assistance, please call the office and ask for our Data Manager, Ms. Tyson.

Senior Yearbook Ads: Purchase your Levine Yearbook here. Senior ads, which may be purchased at the same time
as your yearbook or at a later date, are available until 11:59 pm Sunday, November 23.

College Application Supporting Documents: Colleges receive a lot of documents around their deadlines, and
it often takes them a few weeks to process and update to show documents as received in your application portals.
You can track recommendation and transcript requests in Naviance to see when they have been submitted. As
soon as they are submitted, they are available for the colleges to download and start processing.

Wells Fargo Paid Summer Internship: Wells Fargo will be on the Levine Campus on Monday, November 11th,
from 11-12 in Room 2306 to host an information session about their paid Sophomore Discovery Fellowship
Program, which includes corporate housing and early career experience in business and finance. See here for
more information and register to attend here. Registration is open to the first 30 students.

Cirkled In “No Sweat” Scholarship: This $2500 scholarship is open to grades 9-12 and has no GPA
requirement, income restrictions, or essay. Apply here by December 31.
